Les Agitateurs – 1 Michelin Star – Nice, France

After a number of disappointing meals in many overpriced and underwhelming restaurants on the Riviera I can safely say this is one of the best meals I have had in the 10+ years I have lived in France.  Not only was the food extra-ordinarily delicious, it was modern, creative, interesting, stunningly plated and served to us by charming and professional service staff.  The only downside imho was the rather disappointing wine list.    We had the best table in the house,  arranged for us by one of our lovely chefs Hiseam who knows the chefs well and quite often helps out in the kitchen.  Thank you Hiseam.  On arrival at this quite small and intimate restaurant we were led downstairs (to my surprise as didn’t even know they had a downstairs) to a semi private room surrounded by wine ( a bit dangerous!).   All in all an excellent evening and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an excellent meal in Nice or the surrounding area. Bravo chefs!
