Workshops
Working as a chef in the private sector or on board a yacht can often be a lonely experience, certainly compared to working as part of a big team in a busy restaurant. Despite some positions that require working in a small team, the majority of private chef jobs out there are sole chef positions. We understand that working on your own for so long can often become challenging when it comes to keeping yourself motivated, and having no one to bounce ideas off! The workshops offered through the Amandine Chefs Academy are aimed at bringing groups of chefs together in an environment where they can share their experiences, learn new skills from other talented chefs and come away feeling inspired and motivated.

Once again Amandine have teamed up with The Galley Gang who are hosting another week long line up of workshops aimed at yacht chefs who are looking for inspiration and motivation.
The Galley Gang started as an informal group of private and yacht chefs who got together to share inspiration, tips and tricks. Fast forward to 2018 and the group has grown to hosting masterclasses and workshops, bringing you top guest chefs from around the world.
Most of the other “students” attending are kick-ass chefs in their own right, so this sort of collaborative teaching works really well. Meeting other like-minded chefs who are experiencing the same challenges in the galley is a great source of inspiration and motivation. A bit like working in a professional kitchen again.
